Competing under the motion “This house believes that traditional textbooks should be replaced entirely by digital resources,” the L3 FBO team impressed judges and the entire audience with their strong arguments, quick thinking, and confident presentation. Facing the L5 Software Development team, they demonstrated excellent research skills, teamwork, and persuasive communication that earned them the winning title. The event, moderated by Teacher Viateur and opened by the Head Teacher, highlighted the school’s commitment to critical thinking and public-speaking development. On this day, the school carried out a special outreach mission to support a vulnerable resident, Umubyeyi Eduardine, through impactful activities aimed at improving her living conditions. The work included building a house, installing interior essentials, and teaching local residents how to create and maintain a kitchen garden. After completing the activities, the team engaged with community members and the beneficiary, who expressed deep gratitude and happiness for the support provided. Students, especially those from Masonry and Culinary Arts Level 1, proudly celebrated the successful accomplishment of their responsibilities, emphasizing that such community-centered initiatives play a vital role in uplifting and empowering citizens.
